The LCSO was back for its annual gala concert under the baton of Angus Christie. The variety of the pieces is something we can emphasise, from quieter more reflective pieces to (very) lively ones across a range of classical periods from Renaissance to very recent. To name a few, some of the works featured in the program included Donizetti, Handel, Karl Jenkins, Ennio Moricone, Mozart, Mussorgsky, Sullivan, Vaughn Williams, Verdi, Wagner, David Cundy a local composer from Melbourne and Ken Stott a local composer from Warrnambool.

We were fortunate enough to have the Limestone Coast Symphonic Chorus join us again this year with Adiemus by Karl Jenkins and a piece called Let All Creation Rise by Ken Stott.  We had guest artists Craig Everingham - Lyric Baritone, Vienna Tran on Viola, Ivan Skawronski on Violin, Tamara Joukoff on Cello, Claire Toffolon on Bassoon and Scott Gunn on Flute.
